Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the Starship Clock application (developed by Paul Serebryakov).
Data Collection & Usage
The Starship Clock application does not collect, track, store, or share any personal data, except in the specific instances detailed below:
Device Location (Optional): If you choose to enable the Weather Module, the application requests access to your device's location. This location data is shared exclusively with WeatherAPI.com to fetch real-time local weather forecasts. Location data is never stored, tracked, or used for advertising. You can grant or deny location permissions when first launching the weather module, or revoke them at any time via your device settings (Settings > Apps > Starship Clock > Permissions > Location). Alternatively, you can enter a city manually or disable the weather module entirely.
Audio & Storage Access (Optional): If you choose to set a custom alarm sound stored on your device, the application may request permission to access your local media storage (such as READ_MEDIA_AUDIO / Storage permissions). This permission is used strictly to allow you to select and play your chosen audio file for alarms. You can decline this permission and use the built-in alarm sounds instead.
In-App Purchases: All financial transactions and purchases (such as unlocking premium content) are processed directly and securely by Google Play Billing. We do not collect, view, or store your credit card or financial details.
Third-Party Services
The application utilizes third-party services that process data according to their own respective Privacy Policies:
Google Play Services & Google Play Billing: https://policies.google.com/privacy
